We had the pleasure of working with Kelly and Keith on their stateside celebration in February after they returned from their elopement to Ireland! You can read more about their Ireland wedding at Corcomroe Abbey in County Clare here
Kelly and Keith decided on an evening cocktail style reception at the beautiful Room 1520 located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. It was important to them for friends and family to gather and celebrate their recent nuptials. Kelly and her “bridal party”got ready at Blowout Junkie before coming to the reception. The space was decorated with metallics, an abundance of candles, and garlands of greenery thanks to FabFlora. Pictures from their Ireland ceremony accented the walls and allowed guests to experience the timeline of their special day!
D’Absolute was brought in for food that featured different neighborhoods in Chicago. They had a Taco Station, Greek Station and a Taylor Street Station. Our favorite menu item had to be the Chicago Style Hot Dogs that were passed out as a late night snack!
Kelly and Keith decided they were not going to have a cake, since this was not a traditional wedding. Instead they had a doughnut wall from Glazed and Infused that included flavors like maple bacon and PB&J.
Jeff from Urban Allure Events assisted with invitation and welcome bag creation. The welcome bags included all things Chicago.
Sean Cook Photography captured all of the beautiful images from the day.
If we had to sum up our favorite parts of this wedding it was the atmosphere and relaxed environment that Kelly and Keith created. We are so happy we were able to be a part of their celebration!
