Just like you found your fiancé we want you to find the perfect match in a planner! Having four planners allow us to bring diverse styles together. Our ideal clients are looking for unique ways to celebrate with their guests. They envision their wedding as way to celebrate in a one-of-a-kind way with the “this is totally us” feeling. They are the busy professionals juggling work with wedding planning. They have family all over the United States (and sometimes further) coming together to celebrate. They love animals, champagne brunch and traveling. They enjoy the finer things in life but still love a late night Target run. They are foodies at heart but will never say no to a Big Star Taco and margarita combo. The ladies love shoes, Kate Spade, and a good manicure. The guys realize the importance of a good beard trim and are nerds at heart. We are LGBTQ friendly and welcome all loving couples - love is love any way!
Nicole Fauls, Owner and Lead Event Planner
Hello! My name is Nicole and I am the Owner of Urban Allure Events. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA attended college in Jacksonville, FL and made Chicago my home 8 years ago. I know how to handle any situation that life may throw your way and can stay calm in the crazy. I believe you can never have too much champagne or post too many pictures on Instagram! My friends laugh at the amount of planners and calendars I rely on. My husband Jeff and I live in Ravenswood with our two dogs (obviously if you have a dog we should be friends!). In my spare time I love to explore the city or binge watch Netflix shows.
The most rewarding part of the planning process is getting to know you! My job is to make sure you are fully able to relax and enjoy every incredible second of your day absolutely stress free! I want to give you piece of mind while executing your vision so you can enjoy your day with your family and friends. I will probably cry when I see you in your wedding dress or at your first look - sorry I’m not sorry. Let’s grab a drink and get to know each other!
Urban Allure Events has celebrated with over 150+ couples and continues to grow! Our newest project was the launch of CHI thee WED - Chicago’s first inclusive wedding blog that showcases every style and budget type! Definitely check it out for wedding inspiration and amazing local wedding pro’s!
I am the Social Media Director for Wish Upon a Wedding which is a non profit organization that grants wedding wishes across the country to couples suffering from life altering circumstances or illness.
Anney Grish, Senior Event Planner
Hi! I'm Anney, event coordinator for Urban Allure Events. I grew up here in Chicago, graduated from Roosevelt University and now live in Humboldt Park with my boyfriend Matt and three birds, Iggy, Chirppy and Avocado. For the past 5 years, what little free time I have is spent playing roller derby and traveling - both to compete and just for fun.
Nicole and I fantasized about throwing parties as our career for many years and it still feels like a dream come true to be doing it now. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing our clients fully kick back and enjoy themselves as they realize we've taken care of all the tricky parts of their event. I love celebrating all of life's best and happiest moments and my goal is to help others do the same!
Brittany Valentine, Senior Event Planner
Hey! My name is Brittany! Originally from the Chicago suburbs, I have spent the past few years traveling the country, from Denver to Los Angeles trying to find the right fit “home” which essentially lead me back here to Chicago! I attended school in Michigan and graduated with a degree in Entertainment and Sports Promotions, so entertaining is definitely my thing!
When I am not working, I love attending any and all Chicago sporting events, exploring the city, and spending time on the water. I am so excited to meet you and hopefully bring a diverse background and creative energy to any event!
Anna Page, Event Planner
Hello, my name is Anna! I grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and currently live in Palos Park with my husband Patrick and our two cats, Callie and Arya (any Game of Thrones fans out there?). I have degrees in Music and Philosophy which have cultivated my love for the arts, creativity and design.
If you see me around the city I'm always carrying a chai tea latte and usually on my way to relax in the South Garden at the Art Institute, my favorite garden in Chicago. I watch the Office daily and include pasta in every meal possible. I am inspired by all things farmhouse and bohemian and I love adding texture in unique and captivating ways. I am so excited to get to know you and your vision for your day!
My job is to make sure your dream wedding is possible without the stress of details so you can fully enjoy your day. I'll never be tired of hearing your engagement story and all the special moments that have brought you and your fiancé to this moment so let's get drinks and talk about you and what makes your relationship unique and wonderful!
Angelica Szymanski, Event Assistant
Hi! My name is Angelica and I recently graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in public relations. It wasn’t until recently that I sparked an interest in the event planning industry. I mean it makes sense, I am the go-to gal for coordinating girl’s nights, birthdays, or really any type of excuse to celebrate.
I think weddings are so magical and I am so excited to assist Nicole and the rest of the Urban Allure team. I’m hardworking, organized and ready to learn about all things wedding.
Jeff Maitland, Digital Dynamo & Heavy Objects Consultant
Hello there! My name is Jeff and I am the digital dynamo of 7 Birds Design and heavy objects consultant here at Urban Allure Events (more on that later!). I grew up in Bloomington, Indiana and attended Indiana University. Most days you can find me at the hospital performing my day job but on nights and weekends I help with all things tech and heavy!
My role at Urban Allure Events is two-fold. First, I am the website administer and tech guru for various geek related needs. I love designing wedding websites, consulting on invitation designs, and creating helpful digital tools to help plan and support events. Second, I am the muscle behind the day-of event planning, particularly in the area of moving heavy objects from Point A to Point B.
